There have been constant attempts to change the coursebooks, methods and dynamics, but the results have not always been productive. We were all once students, all of us loved some school subjects, while others we simply tried to avoid. Foreign languages have always presented several difficulties to the learners, and despite the fact that nowadays they are essential, many people still try to avoid their use. As a linguist, I have often considered the issues of teaching foreign languages while attending several teacher trainings in Slovenia and abroad.
